• This is an initiative to develop a citizen’s roadmap to achieving UHC
• The Commission will be led by four health and business leaders — Tarun Khanna, director of Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, executive chairperson of Biocon, Gagandeep Kang, professor at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and Vikram Patel, professor at Harvard Medical School.

•  During the meeting, the participants discussed joint use of Chabahar Port for trade and transit purposes and enhanced regional connectivity.
• The meeting was held as a follow up of decisions taken during the virtual summit held between Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and President H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan on December 11, 2020.

REVISION: India and Iran have signed an agreement to construct a rail line from Chabahar port to Zahedan, along the border with Afghanistan.

• Over the years, GRSE has emerged as a leading shipyard having built over 100 ships. 

• The yard has scaled up its infrastructure and skill sets to meet new challenges in building P17A ships.

•  P17A ships are the first gas turbine propulsion and largest combat platforms ever built at GRSE.

• Under the Project 17A program, a total of seven ships, four at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) and three ships at GRSE are being built with advanced indigenous weapon and sensor fit along with several other improvements.
