CGL Tier 3 exam is scheduled on 31st March as per official notification. Considering tier 2 exam papers were moderate to hard  and tier 1 moderate, so tier 3 is not only going to be very crucial, but also important. Marks of ssc cgl tier 3 will be deciding factor to get the job.

SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam Pattern :

Marks : 100

Time : 1 hours

Paper type : Descriptive Paper

Marks of Tier1, Tier2, Tier3 will be counted for final merit.

Target score : you must aim for 80+

Minimum required : 33%

How will you rate : below 33% - not qualified and no job even if you have done great in tier1 and tier2.

33-50 marks : below average

50 -60 marks : average

60 -65 marks above average

65 -70 marks good

70-75 marks excellent

75+ outstanding

Syllabus 

Descriptive paper in English /Hindi (writing of essay / precis /letter /application writing etc.

The paper will comprise writing of an essay / passage of 250 words and letter / application writing of approximately 150 words.

The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and part in English will not be evaluated. Also the questions in this paper would be of 10 + 2 standard.
