1. frivolity (निरर्थक व्यापार)

Meaning-

  • Silliness, Childness, Lack of seriousness

Part of Speech- Noun

Trick-

  • Acting Like Freeing Always So no Serious

Synonyms-

  • Levity, flippancy, flummery, folly, Frippery, fribble, Triviality

Antonyms-

  • earnestness,seriousness,solemnity

Example-

  1. When the professor cracked a joke, I knew today’s lecture was going to be fun and filled with frivolity.
  2. To the monk, owning more than one shelter was a frivolity.

2. embellish (संवारना)

Meaning-

make beautiful, decorate

Part of Speech- Verb

Trick-

emBELLISH we add Bell to Christmes trees to adorn it

Synonyms-

Adorn , Bedeck, Dress Up, Embroider, Festoon, Fudge, Emblaze

Antonyms-

Blemish, deface, Disfigure, scar, mar, spoil

Example-

  1. If you want to make your house look new, you can always embellish them with some wallpapers.
  2. The team asked the Coach to budget some funds to embellish their team uniforms with an image of the school mascot.

3. frond (बड़ा पत्ता )

Meaning-

  • A large, Long Leaf

Part of Speech- Noun

Trick –

  • Some fronds grow in Ponds

Synonyms-

  • Petal, bract, Leaflet, Petiole , Stipule, Foliole

Example-

  1. Each Frond on the trees starting  falling in season of Autumn.
  2. The ruler’s servant waved a long green frond from a palm tree to keep her cool.

4. filch (चुराना)

Meaning

pilfer or steal  in a casual way.

Part of Speech- Verb

Trick-

  • fil (fill) + ch (Cheese) – Lord Krishna filled Cheese in his bag Which is stolen.

Synonyms:-

  • Boost, Hook, Pilfer, snitch, rip off, pinch, Purloin, thieve, heist.

Example-

  1. If you filch any items from work, you will be fired.
  2. The Pizza hut had a palm frond roof that served as a thin covering

5. Edifice (भवन, इमारते)

Meaning-

  • A large and usually impressive Building

Part of Speech- Noun

Trick :-

  • edifice sounds like Head + Office means Big Sized Building

Synonyms-

  • Palace , Cathedral, hail, Tower, Monument, Rockpile

Example-

  1. The Monument on the corner is the     oldest edifice in the county.
  2. The company’s world headquarters will soon be relocated to a new edifice down the street.
