Everyone knows there is no substitute for hard work. PRACTICE is the only key to hone your writing skills and ace this exam. Follow the tips and instructions given below to improve your writing skills.

What sources to follow for your preparation?

You can read newspapers, articles, magazines which will help you improve your vocabulary and also add various dimensions into your answer writing. But some students find it difficult to comprehend the articles and reproduce them within the prescribed limit. Also, they are unable to make out which topics are relevant from the examination point of view. To help such students, PINNACLE has launched e-books especially designed for SSC CGL Tier 3 including the most important essays and letters.

PINNACLE e-books cover a range of topics from Social issues, Finance & Economy, Politics, Technology, Environment, Current events and Government initiatives.

Effective time Management

Even though you are a virtuoso, you can succumb to the stressful environment of the examination and may not be able to complete your exam on time. You don’t have all the time in the world but only 60 minutes at your disposal to make a mark in the final list.

PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE. Again, PRACTICE is the key to success. Practice can help you in knowing your strengths and weaknesses and managing your time effectively.

If Essay, letter and Précis are asked divide your time effectively. Don’t spend more than 30 minutes on essay and spare 15 minutes each for letter and Précis. If only essay and letter are asked, divide your time equally.

Improving your language skills

Work on your grammar if you feel the need to do so. Take any grammar book and learn the basic grammar rules. It would not only help you in Tier 3 but will improve your score in Tier 2 as well. Making grammatical errors could create a very bad impression on the evaluator and could mar your chances of selection.
