Although preventing disasters is not possible, we can lessen their impact by inculcating effective disaster management schemes in the country’s policy framework. Such policies can significantly reduce the loss of life and property during a disaster by creating awareness among people and providing them with proper training. Moreover, they will lead to proper fund allocation to the agencies dedicated to disaster management, with the help of which they can upgrade their technology and predict disasters more precisely..
