• सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय और भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (आईआईटी)-रुड़की ने राजमार्ग अवसंरचना विकास highway  Infrastructure development के क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान एवं विकास तथा पठन-पाठन एवं प्रशिक्षण teaching and training को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए परस्पर सहयोग का एक समझौता किया है।

•  इस समझौते पर मंत्रालय के सड़क विकास महानिदेशक और विशेष सचिव  इन्द्रेश कुमार पांडेय और IIT-रुड़की के सिविल इंजीनियरिंग विभाग के प्रोफेसर एवं उप-निदेशक प्रोफेसर मनोरंजन परीदा ने हस्ताक्षर किए। 
• IIT-रुड़की के साथ सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय का यह सहयोग सडक क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान और विकास गतिविधियों को मजबूत करेगा।
