• इसी तरह, अक्टूबर 2019 में जारी 2020 रिपोर्ट के आंकड़ों में सुधार के अनुसार, सऊदी अरब अर्थव्यवस्था में सुधार करने वाला शीर्ष नहीं होगा, जबकि अजरबैजान शीर्ष 10 आश्रितों में से एक होगा। अजरबैजान की 2020 की रैंकिंग 28 होगी, जबकि इसकी पिछली वैश्विक रैंकिंग 34 थी।

• सउदी अरब की वैश्विक रैंकिंग 62 की जगह  63 होगी। 
• हालांकि, विश्व बैंक द्वारा जारी संशोधित ईज ऑफ डूइंग बिजनेस रिपोर्ट में भारत की रैंकिंग (63), अप्रभावित रही।

• The World Bank recently came out with its corrected ‘Ease of Doing Business’ report after suspending it in August 2020 due to what is referred to be several irregularities.

• Many irregularities have been reported regarding changes to the data in the Doing Business 2018 and Doing Business 2020 reports, published in October 2017 and 2019. 

• In its reviewed report which was released on 16 December 2020, the Bank said that in the 2018 report released in October 2017, China should have been shown dropping seven notches to 85th rather than remaining 78th. 

• Similarly, according to the corrections to data for the 2020 report, released in October 2019, Saudi Arabia would not have been the top improving economy, while Azerbaijan would have moved up and been one of the top 10 improvers. Azerbaijan's 2020 ranking would be 28, instead of its previous global ranking of 34.

• Saudi Arabia's global ranking would be 63 in Doing Business 2020 in place of 62. The UAE's position in the global ranking would be unchanged at
• India’s ranking (63) , however, remained unaffected in the revised Ease of Doing Business report released by the World Bank.
