• The World in 2030: Public Survey Report was recently published by UNESCO. The report was published by the organization based on the survey held between May 2020 and September 2020.

• The survey collected responses from more than 15,000 people from all over the world.

• According to the report, Climate Change, Violence and Conflict, Loss of Biodiversity and discrimination and inequality, water and housing, lack of food are the four biggest challenges to peaceful societies of 2030.

• According to the participants, education is the only crucial solution to many difficulties to be faced in 2030. However, the North Americans (US, Canada) believe in science and not in education.

• Apart from education, the only other solution is international cooperation.

•  हाल ही में यूनेस्को द्वारा World in 2030: Public Survey Report  प्रकाशित की गई ।

•  संगठन द्वारा रिपोर्ट मई 2020 और सितंबर 2020 के बीच आयोजित सर्वेक्षण के आधार पर प्रकाशित की गई ।

• सर्वेक्षण ने दुनिया भर से 15,000 से अधिक लोगों से प्रतिक्रियाएं एकत्र कीं।

• रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, जलवायु परिवर्तन, हिंसा और संघर्ष, जैव विविधता की हानि Loss of Biodiversity और भेदभाव और असमानता discrimination and inequality, पानी और आवास, भोजन की कमी 2030 के शांतिपूर्ण समाजों के लिए चार सबसे बड़ी चुनौतियां हैं।

• प्रतिभागियों के अनुसार, 2030 में आने वाली  कठिनाइयों के लिए शिक्षा एकमात्र महत्वपूर्ण समाधान है। हालांकि, उत्तर अमेरिकी (अमेरिका, कनाडा) विज्ञान में विश्वास करते हैं और शिक्षा में नहीं।

• Two opposition parties and the ethnic Serb minority party boycotted the voting.

• Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu कोसोवो की सातवीं राष्ट्रपति और  दूसरी महिला राष्ट्रपति  बनी है।

• कोसोवो में कानूनविदों Lawmakers ने युद्ध के बाद की अवधि में बाल्कन Balkan  राष्ट्र की दूसरी महिला नेता को पांच साल के कार्यकाल के लिए नए राष्ट्रपति के रूप में चुना और शपथ दिलाई।

• 120 सीटों वाली संसद, जिसने दो दिनों के लिए एक असाधारण सत्र में बुलाया, वोटिंग के तीसरे दौर में, पूर्व संसद स्पीकर,Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu के लिए 71 वोट दिए|

The Finance Ministry has said banks have sanctioned Rs 25,586 crore to about 1.14 lakh beneficiaries under the Stand Up India Scheme in the last five years 

• Stand-Up India was launched by the Government of India on 5 April 2016 to support entrepreneurship among women and SC & ST communities.

• As per the scheme, bank loans between ₹10 lakh and ₹1 crore are routed to at least one SC or ST borrower, and at least one woman borrower, by each branch of the scheduled commercial banks.

• This scheme, which has been extended up to 2025, covers SC/ST and/or women entrepreneurs, above 18 years of age

• वित्त मंत्रालय ने कहा कि बैंकों ने पिछले वर्षों में स्टैंड अप इंडिया योजना के तहत लगभग 1.14 लाख लाभार्थियों को 25,586 करोड़ रुपये की मंजूरी दी है

• स्टैंड-अप इंडिया 5 अप्रैल 2016 को महिलाओं और एससी और एसटी समुदायों के बीच उद्यमशीलता Entrepreneurship का समर्थन करने के लिए भारत सरकार द्वारा शुरू किया गया था।

• योजना के अनुसार, अनुसूचित वाणिज्यिक बैंकों Scheduled commercial banks की प्रत्येक शाखा द्वारा 10 लाख और  1 करोड़ के बीच के बैंक ऋण को कम से कम एक SC या ST उधारकर्ता और कम से कम एक महिला उधारकर्ता को दिया जाता है|

• इस योजना को 2025 तक विस्तारित किया गया है|

•  इस योजना में 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के एससी / एसटी और / या महिला उद्यमी शामिल हैं

• Former Union Environment Minister and MLA from Gujarat's Wankaner Digvijaysinh Zala passed away at the age of 88.

• The head of the erstwhile princely state of Wankaner in Saurashtra expired following a brief period of illness.

• Zala was an MLA from Wankaner for the years 1962-67 as an independent candidate and as a member of the Swatantra Party from 1967-71.

• He, then, joined the Congress and became a Member of Parliament from Surendranagar for two terms from 1979 to 1989.

• Establishing the Environment ministry under Prime minister Indira Gandhi, he became the first Environment Minister of the country from 1982 to 1984.

• He also represented India in the United Nations on more than one occasion.

• हाल ही में पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री दिग्विजय सिंह जाला (Digvijaysinh Zala) का निधन हो गया,

•  वे 88 वर्ष के थे। 

• दिग्विजय सिंह जाला भारत के पहले पर्यावरण मंत्री (India’s First Environment Minister) थे, उन्होंने इस पद पर 1982 से 1984 तक काम किया। 

History:

• इसके अलावा वे गुजरात के वाकानेर (Wakaner) से विधायक भी रह चुके हैं, वे 1962-67 तक वाकानेर से निर्दलीय विधायक रहे। 

• बाद में 1967-71 तक वे स्वतंत्र पार्टी के सदस्य रहे। बाद में वे कांग्रेस में शामल हुए और 1979 से 1989 तक दो बार सुरेंदरनगर से सांसद बने। 

• तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गाँधी (Indira Gandhi) द्वारा पर्यावरण मंत्रालय की स्थापना किये जाने के बाद वे 1982 से 1984 तक भारत के पहले पर्यावरण मंत्री बने। 

• उन्होंने संयुक्त राष्ट्र समेत कई अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मचों पर पर्यावरण सम्बन्धी मुद्दों पर भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व भी किया था।
• दिग्विजय सिंह जाला को भारत में वन्यजीवन संरक्षण में उनकी भूमिका के लिए जाना जाता है, इसके अलावा उन्होंने कई राष्ट्रीय उद्यानों की घोषणा में भी योगदान दिया।

• The consultancy has been publishing the Academic Ranking of World Universities since 2009.

• The top performers of ARWU ranking are as follows: Harvard University, Stanford University and Cambridge University.

• ARWU(Academic Ranking of World Universities)  में  लगभग पंद्रह भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों ने अपनी जगह बनाई है।

• इसे शंघाई रैंकिंग भी कहा जाता है

• भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान, बैंगलोर ने भारत में उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानों में शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया है।
