• Singapore was the best performer among all the 11 health systems in the Asia-Pacific region

• Taiwan bagged the second position while Japan, and Australia stands at the third and the fourth position of the index respectively.

• India was ranked at 10th position out of 11 health systems.
• Indonesia was ranked last at 11th

• The scheme is aimed to benefit 1.10 crore families in the state and the beneficiary family will be able to get free treatment of up to ₹5 lakh every year.

• The Chief Minister said the scheme is estimated to cost ₹1800 crore annually and the state government will bear 80 percent of the cost which amounts to ₹1400 crore. 

• The remaining ₹400 crore will be provided by the Central Government.

• राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने राज्य के गरीबों को मुफ्त इलाज प्रदान करने के लिए आयुष्मान भारत महात्मा गांधी राजस्थान स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना शुरू की है।

• इस योजना का उद्देश्य राज्य में 1.10 करोड़ परिवारों को लाभान्वित करना है और लाभार्थी परिवार हर साल 5 लाख तक का मुफ्त इलाज करवा सकेगा।

• मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस योजना पर सालाना  1800 करोड़ खर्च होने का अनुमान है और राज्य सरकार 80 प्रतिशत लागत वहन करेगी जो 1400 करोड़ है।
• शेष  400 करोड़ केंद्र सरकार द्वारा प्रदान किए जाएंगे।

• Later, in April 1899, the place of publication of the Journal was shifted to Advaita Ashrama, West Bengal and it has been continuously published from there since then.

• She was commissioned into the Navy on 05 Jun 1999 by the then Governor of Goa, Lt Gen JFR Jacob (Retd).

• IN FAC T-81 को भारतीय नौसेना में वर्ष 1999 में शामिल किया गया था। इसकी कमीशनिंग गोवा के तत्कालीन गवर्नर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल जेएफआर जैकब JFR Jacob (सेवानिवृत्त) द्वारा की गई थी।

REVISION: 

हाल ही में, भारतीय नौसेना ने अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह में भारतीय सेना और वायु सेना के साथ “AMPHEX – 21” एक संयुक्त अभ्यास किया है। यह त्रि-सेवा संयुक्त अभ्यास 21 से 25 जनवरी, 2021 तक आयोजित किया गया।

• The Ministry of Education, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), and the World Bank have signed an agreement for the financial support worth Rs 5718 crore towards the implementation of the Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States (STARS) project.

•  The total cost of the STARS project is Rs 5718 crore with the financial support of the World Bank amounting to $500 million (approximately Rs 3700 crore) and the rest will be contributed as state share from the participating states, over a period of five years.

• Earlier, the Union Cabinet had approved the proposal of STARS project. 

• The project will cover six states including Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, and Odisha. 

• The identified states will be supported for various interventions for improving the quality of education.

• Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States (STARS)

• Kerala is all set to open the country's first ‘Gender Park’, which will likely become functional from February. 

• The Kerala state government's INR 300 crore three tower Gender Park, claimed to be the country's first, will work toward promoting gender equality in the state.

• As per the reports, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the premises on February 11. 

• He will also lay the foundation of the International Women's Trade and Research Centre (IWTRC) on the same day.

• Reportedly, a Gender Library, Gender Museum, an Amphitheatre, and a Convention Centre will also be launched 

• All these four facilities will form the first phase of the Gender Park that will serve to work towards gender equality in the state.

• केरल सरकार द्वारा 300 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से निर्मित ‘जेंडर पार्क’ का संचालन जल्द ही (फरवरी माह से) शुरू हो जाएगा।

• यह ‘जेंडर पार्क’ देश में अपनी तरह का पहला प्रयास है, जो राज्य में लैंगिक असमानता का मुकाबला करने में मदद करेगा।

•  इस ‘जेंडर पार्क’ के पहले चरण में एक जेंडर म्यूज़ियम, जेंडर लाइब्रेरी, कन्वेंशन सेंटर और एक एम्फीथिएटर का उद्घाटन किया जाएगा।

• अत्याधुनिक कन्वेंशन सेंटर में 500 से अधिक लोगों के बैठने की व्यवस्था होगी। केरल के इस ‘जेंडर पार्क’ में सभी परियोजनाओं को ‘यूएन वीमेन’ का सहयोग मिलेगा।
