• शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने समग्र शिक्षा योजना के तहत वित्तपोषित आवासीय विद्यालयों और छात्रावासों का नाम “नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस आवासीय विद्यालय” रखने का फैसला किया है।

• “राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों में अब तक कुल 1,063 आवासीय सुविधाएं (383 आवासीय विद्यालय residential schools और 680 छात्रावास hostels) मंजूर किए गए हैं।

• इन स्कूलों में नियमित स्कूल पाठ्यक्रम के अलावा, बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास All round development के लिए कौशल प्रशिक्षण, शारीरिक आत्मरक्षा, चिकित्सा देखभाल, सामुदायिक भागीदारी, मासिक वजीफा भी बच्चों को उपलब्ध कराया जाता है।

• नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस के नाम के साथ इन स्कूलों का जुड़ाव बच्चों के लिए प्रेरणा का काम करेगा और शिक्षकों, कर्मचारियों और प्रशासन को भी प्रेरित करेगा

• संसद सदस्य स्थानीय. क्षेत्र विकास योजना Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) -सांसदों के लिए एक केंद्रीय क्षेत्र योजना है जो अपने निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में विकासात्मक प्रकृति के कार्यों की सिफारिश करती है।

• इसे दिसंबर, 1993 में लॉन्च किया गया था

• इस योजना के तहत  5 करोड़ रूपए प्रति  वर्ष प्रति सांसद दिए जाते हैं। 

• अप्रैल 2020  में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने संसद के सभी सदस्यों के वेतन में 30% की कटौती और MPLAD योजना के दो साल के निलंबन को मंजूरी दी थी ताकि राशि COVID-19 से लड़ने के लिए भारत के समेकित कोष (CFI) में जा सके।

• The Union Cabinet approved a 30% cut in the salaries of all Members of Parliament and a two-year suspension of MPLAD scheme so that the amount saved can go to the Consolidated Fund of India (CFI) to fight COVID-19.
