• Nethra Kumanan has become the first Indian woman sailor to qualify for the Olympics after she was assured of a top-place finish in the laser radial event of the Asian Qualifiers in Oman.

• The 23-year-old Kumanan has a 21-point advantage over her nearest rival, Ramya Saravanan 

• The Chennai-based Kumanan currently has 18 points while Saravanan has 39 on the penultimate day of competitions in the Mussanah Open Championship, which is a joint Asian and African Olympic qualifying event.
• Kumanan will be the 10th Indian to qualify for a sailing event in the Olympics, but all the earlier nine have been male athletes.

• In addition, the ship carries an integral Chetak helicopter, which would be extensively deployed during the survey.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana phase 3 (PMKVY 3.0) was launched on 15th January 2021 with the support of States/UTs 

Around 1.21 crore candidates were trained under PMKVY 2.0 (2016-2020) and PMKVY 3.0 aims at benefitting 8 lakh youth in the scheme period 2020-21 with an outlay of Rs. 948.90 crore.
