• 111 cities participated in the assessment exercise that was conducted in 2020.

• A Joint Working Group (JWG) will be also formed by the executing agencies of both countries. It will create a road map for cooperation in the field of Agriculture.

• The MoU has been signed for cooperation in the following areas:

• Development of infrastructure for agriculture development

• Promotion of investment in marketing and value addition/downstream processing of agricultural commodities

• Joint planning and development of research proposals and execution of research projects and programmes
• Development of human resources through training of officers and farmers by conducting seminars and workshops
• केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने 03 मार्च 2021 को भारत गणराज्य के कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare और फिजी गणराज्य के कृषि मंत्रालय के बीच कृषि और संबद्ध क्षेत्रों agriculture and allied sectors में सहयोग के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाने की मंजूरी दी है| यह बैठक प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में हुईं|

• यह समझौता ज्ञापन अपने हस्ताक्षर की तारीख से प्रभावी होगा और 5 साल की अवधि के लिए लागू रहेगा.

• Indore has emerged as the highest-ranked municipality, followed by Surat and Bhopal. 

• In the Less than Million category, New Delhi Municipal Council has emerged as the leader, followed by Tirupati and Gandhinagar.

(TRIFED), Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC) and the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).

• विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री Science & Technology Minister डॉ हर्षवर्धन ने 4 मार्च, 2021 को नई दिल्ली में वर्चुअल मोड के माध्यम से "CSIR  फ्लोरिकल्चर मिशन" शुरू किया।

• Floriculture(फूलों की खेती)
• हाल ही में, CSIR फ्लोरिकल्चर मिशन को भारत के 21 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में लागू करने के लिए मंजूरी दी गई है, जिसमें CSIR संस्थानों में उपलब्ध ज्ञान आधार का उपयोग किया जाएगा और भारतीय किसानों की  मदद की जाएगी।
