• Indian Air Force (IAF) will participate for the first time in Exercise Desert Flag which has begun in Al-Dhafra air base in UAE. 

• Exercise Desert Flag is an annual multinational large force employment warfare exercise hosted by the United Arab Emirates Air Force.

• The Indian Air Force is participating along with air forces of United Arab Emirates, United States of America, France, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Bahrain. The exercise will conclude on the 27th of this month.

• The Indian Air Force is participating with six Sukhoi Su-30 MKI, two C-17 and one IL-78 tanker aircraft. C-17 Globemaster will provide support for induction or de-induction of the IAF contingent.

• Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Shri Bhupesh Baghel also attended the event virtually.

• The project “Development of Maa Bamleshwari Devi Temple, Dongargarh” has been approved by the Ministry of Tourism with an estimated cost of Rs. 43.33 Cr in Oct. 2020.
• The ‘National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive’ (PRASHAD) is a Central Sector Scheme fully financed by the Government of India launched by the Ministry of Tourism in the year 2014-15 with the objective of integrated development of identified pilgrimage and heritage destinations.
• केंद्रीय पर्यटन मंत्री Union Minister of State for Tourism & Culture प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से छत्तीसगढ़ के डोंगरगढ़ Dongargarh में “माँ बम्लेश्वरी देवी मंदिर का विकास” परियोजना की आधारशिला रखी। यह परियोजना पर्यटन मंत्रालय, नई दिल्ली द्वारा (PRASHAD) योजना के तहत स्वीकृत की गई है। छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने भी वर्चुअल माध्यम से इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।

•  “माँ बम्लेश्वरी देवी मंदिर, डोंगरगढ़ का विकास” परियोजना अक्टूबर 2020 में 43.33 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत के साथ पर्यटन मंत्रालय द्वारा अनुमोदित की गई है। 
• इस परियोजना के सफलता पूर्वक सम्पन्न होने के बाद निश्चित रूप से मंदिर में दर्शन करने के लिए आने वाले तीर्थयात्रियों को बेहतर अनुभव प्राप्त होगा।

• The Sri Vakratunda Vinayagar temple in Melbourne is the only temple in the southern hemisphere of the earth outside India, built of granite stone.

• This temple of Lord Ganesha has recently been given a facelift. The design of this temple is derived from the Brihadisvara temple of World Heritage Thanjavur.

• There are 1200 different stones of 350 tons of granite, one on top of the other, in 17 layers.
• The smallest stone weighs 250 kg, the heaviest is 6 tons.

• भगवान गणेश के इस मंदिर को हाल ही में नया रूप देकर खोला गया है। इस मंदिर का डिजाइन विश्व धरोहर तंजावुर के बृहदीश्वर मंदिर से लिया गया है।

• मंदिर कमेटी के अध्यक्ष के मुताबिक, मंदिर का निर्माण पिछले साल जून में खत्म होना था, लेकिन कोरोना वायरस की वजह से यह टलता रहा। इसमें 20 करोड़ रुपए खर्च हुए हैं। गणेश मंदिर के अलावा यहां अन्य देवी-देवताओं के 11 मंदिर भी बनाए गए है।

• 350 टन ग्रेनाइट के 1200 अलग-अलग पत्थर, एक के ऊपर एक जोड़कर 17 लेयर्स में लगे हैं।

• सबसे छोटे पत्थर का वजन 250 किलो, सबसे भारी 6 टन है।

• तमिलनाडु में महाबलीपुरम के 100 शिल्पकारों ने ग्रेनाइट पत्थरों को तराशा, फिर ऑस्ट्रेलिया भेजा गया।

• डिजाइन में आईआईटी मद्रास के प्रोफेसर अरुण में और चेन्नई की उमा नरसिम्हन ने सहयोग दिया है।

• मेलबर्न में बना यह मंदिर ग्रेनाइट पत्थर से निर्मित भारत के बाहर पृथ्वी के दक्षिणी गोलार्ध Southern hemisphere का एकमात्र मंदिर है।
