• Minister for Social justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot has virtually launched “Sugamya Bharat App” and a handbook entitled “Access - The Photo Digest”. 

• Sugamya Bharat App is a means for sensitising and enhancing accessibility.

•  It provides for five main features of which four are directly related to enhancing accessibility.

• They include registration of complaints of inaccessibility across the broad pillars of built environment, transportation sector and  Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ecosystem
• The fifth feature is a special feature meant only for Divyangjan for COVID related issues.
• केन्द्रीय सामाजिक न्याय तथा अधिकारिता मंत्री Minister for Social justice and Empowerment श्री थावरचंद गहलोत ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से “सुगम्य भारत ऐप” तथा पुस्तिका “एक्सेस-द फोटो डायजेस्ट” लॉन्च किया। 

• यह ऐप और पुस्तिका सामाजिक न्याय तथा अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के दिव्यांगजन सशक्तिकरण विभाग  PwD Empowerment Department द्वारा विकसित की गयी है।

•  सुगम्य भारत ऐप- क्राउड सोर्सिंग मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन सुगम्य भारत अभियान के तीन स्तंभों- निर्मित वातावरण Built environment, परिवहन क्षेत्र transportation sector तथा देश में ICT ईकोसिस्टम के प्रति संवेदी Sensory बनाने तथा पहुंच बढ़ाने का एक साधन है।
•  ऐप में पांच मुख्य विशेषताएं हैं, इसमें चार विशेषताएं पहुंच बढ़ाने से सीधी जुड़ी हैं जबकि पांचवीं विशेषता  दिव्यांगजन के लिए कोविड से संबंधित विषयों में है।

• Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced four public welfare schemes during a state-level programme organised on the occasion of the 644th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas.

• Under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, one lakh poorest families of the state would be targeted.

• “Every possible effort will be made to increase the family income of such families to at least Rs 8,000 to Rs 9,000 per month. 

• An amount of Rs 11 crore has been allocated under the Sant Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasaar Yojana. Under the scheme, financial assistance of minimum of Rs 50,000 and maximum of Rs 1 lakh will be provided to the religious organisations for organising programmes on the birth anniversaries of great men at the block and gram levels.

• The Chief Minister announced that the legal aid given to the victims of atrocities under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act was increased from Rs 11,000 to Rs 21,000.

• Khattar announced that the financial assistance of Rs 50,000 being given under the Dr BR Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojana for the repair of the house to Scheduled Caste families living below the poverty line was increased to Rs 80,000.

• हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने गुरु रविदास की 644 वीं जयंती के अवसर पर आयोजित एक राज्य स्तरीय कार्यक्रम के दौरान चार जन कल्याणकारी योजनाओं public welfare schemes की घोषणा की।

• मुख्यमंत्री अंत्योदय परिवार उत्थान योजना के तहत, राज्य के एक लाख गरीब परिवारों को लक्षित किया जाएगा।

• “ऐसे परिवारों की पारिवारिक आय को  बढ़ाने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किया जाएगा।

• संत महापुरुष विचार सम्मान और प्रसार योजना  Sant Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasaar Yojana के तहत 11 करोड़ रुपये की राशि आवंटित की गई है। योजना के तहत, ब्लॉक और ग्राम स्तर पर महापुरुषों की जयंती पर कार्यक्रमों के आयोजन के लिए धार्मिक संगठनों को न्यूनतम 50,000 रुपये और अधिकतम 1 लाख रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।

• मुख्यमंत्री ने घोषणा की कि अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति (अत्याचार निवारण) अधिनियम Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act के तहत अत्याचार के पीड़ितों को दी जाने वाली कानूनी सहायता 11,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 21,000 रुपये कर दी गई।
• खट्टर ने घोषणा की कि गरीबी रेखा से नीचे रहने वाले अनुसूचित जाति के परिवारों को घर की मरम्मत के लिए डॉ बीआर अंबेडकर आवास नवनिर्माण योजना के तहत दी जा रही 50,000 रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता को बढ़ाकर 80,000 रुपये कर दिया गया।

• The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India under its Waste to Wealth Mission has launched the Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship to recognize students, community workers or Self-Help Groups, who are engaged in tackling the enormous challenge of waste management, scientifically and sustainably.

•  The Waste to Wealth Mission is one of the nine national missions of the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council, PM-STIAC.

• The Swachhta Saarthi Fellowships invites applications from students and community workers who have done previous work or are currently engaged in waste management activities, including awareness campaigns, surveys and studies.

•  There are three categories of awards under the fellowships.

• Category-A is Open to School students from 9th to 12th Standards engaged in waste management community work, 

• Category-B is Open to College students (UG, PG, Research Students) engaged in waste management community work and 

• Category-C is open to citizens working in the community and through SHGs, municipal or sanitary workers working beyond specifications of their job requirement or deions. 

• अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन के समक्ष In front of waste management मौजूद विभिन्न चुनौतियों को वैज्ञानिक और टिकाऊ तरीके से निपटान के लिए काम कर रहे नगर निगम कर्मियों,सफाई कर्मियों, स्वयं सहायता समूहों,और छात्रों को मान्यता देने के लिए भारत सरकार के प्रधान वैज्ञानिक सलाहकार के कार्यालय ने अपने मिशन ‘वेस्ट टू वेल्थ’ के अंतर्गत ‘स्वच्छता सारथी फेलोशिप’ की शुरुआत की है।

•  'वेस्ट टू वेल्थ',प्रधानमंत्री-विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और नवाचार सलाहकार परिषद  के 9 राष्ट्रीय मिशनों में से एक है।

•  इस फेलोशिप के अंतर्गत प्रोत्साहन पुरस्कार को तीन अलग-अलग श्रेणियों में बाँटा गया है जो निम्नलिखित है:

• श्रेणी-ए Category-A:यह श्रेणी स्कूली विद्यार्थियों के लिए है जो 9वीं कक्षा से 12वीं कक्षा तक के हैं और सामुदायिक स्तर community work पर कचरा प्रबंधन के कार्यों में लगे हैं।

• श्रेणी-बी Category-B:इसके अंतर्गत कॉलेज के छात्रों को प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा जो स्नातक UG, परास्नातक Masters तथा शोध छात्र Research Students हैं और सामुदायिक स्तर पर कचरा प्रबंधन में लगे हैं।

• श्रेणी-सी Category-C:इसके अंतर्गत स्वयं सहायता समूह के माध्यम से समुदाय में कार्य कर रहे नागरिकों, नगर निगम कर्मियों और स्वच्छता कर्मियों को प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा जो अपने उत्तरदायित्व से आगे बढ़कर कार्य कर रहे हैं|
• इस फ़ेलोशिप के लिए आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 19 मार्च, 2021 है। इसके अंतर्गत 500 फ़ेलोशिप प्रोत्साहन पुरस्कार दिए जाएंगे।

• इस संबंध में विभिन्न सरकारी कार्यों जैसे- सुरक्षा, आव्रजन और सीमा शुल्क Security, Immigration and Customs आदि के समन्वय तथा नियंत्रण हेतु 1 मार्च, 2012 को भारतीय भूमि पत्तन प्राधिकरण (LPAI) की स्थापना की गई थी।
