• Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs Riva Ganguly Das has co-chaired the 23rd ASEAN-India Senior Officials’ Meeting with Permanent Secretary of Thailand Thani Thongphakdi. 

• Senior Officials from all ten ASEAN Member States and India attended the virtual meeting.

•  During the Meeting, the status of ongoing ASEAN-India cooperation was reviewed under the whole spectrum of political-security, economic, socio-cultural and developmental cooperation.
• The Meeting also deliberated on the steps to implement the ASEAN-India Plan of Action 2021-2025 and discussed ways to further strengthen the ASEAN-India Strategic Partnership. 
• विदेश मंत्रालय में सचिव (पूर्व) (East) रीवा गांगुली दास ने थाईलैंड के स्थायी सचिव  Thani Thongphakdi  के साथ 23वें आसियान-भारत के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता की है।

• सभी दस आसियान सदस्य देशो और भारत के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने आभासी बैठक में भाग लिया।

•   बैठक के दौरान राजनीतिक-सुरक्षा, आर्थिक, सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक और विकासात्मक सहयोग के पूरे स्पेक्ट्रम के तहत चल रहे आसियान-भारत सहयोग की स्थिति की समीक्षा की गई।
• बैठक ने आसियान-भारत योजना 2021-2025 को लागू करने के कदमों पर भी विचार-विमर्श किया और आसियान-भारत रणनीतिक साझेदारी को और मजबूत करने के तरीकों पर चर्चा की।

• This day is of national importance to mark the launch of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which is also known as Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). 

• It was launched by PM Narendra Modi in the year 2018 to provide various benefits with a cover of 5 lakh rupees per family to be given per year.

• आयुष्मान भारत दिवस हर साल 30 अप्रैल को पूरे देश में मनाया जाता है।

• इस दिन का उद्देश्य सामाजिक-आर्थिक जाति जनगणना डेटाबेस Socio-Economic Caste Census database के आधार पर देश के दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों में सस्ती चिकित्सा सुविधाओं को बढ़ावा देना है।

• The hike will come into effect from July 1, 

• This is the second hike in the scheme amount by the present government, which had earlier enhanced the assistance from Rs 15,000 to Rs 21,000 soon after it took over in 2017, while renaming the Shagun scheme as Ashirward scheme.

•  At that time, the state Cabinet had also decided to make payment directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through the online banking management system, under the scheme implemented by the Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities department.

• पंजाब मंत्रिमंडल ने आशीर्वाद योजना के तहत वित्तीय सहायता  21,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 51,000 रुपये प्रति लाभार्थी करने को मंजूरी दी है|

• पहले इस योजना का नाम शगुन योजना था|  2017 में इसे 15,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 21,000 रुपये कर दिया था।
