• The decision was taken in a meeting with the Intellectual Property Organisation (IPO) Pakistan chaired by Commerce Adviser Razak Dawood.

• बिल एंड मेलिंडा गेट्स फाउंडेशन और काउंसिल ऑफ साइंटिफिक एंड इंडस्ट्रियल रिसर्च (CSIR), भारत ने भारत में स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान के विकास का समर्थन करने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

• समझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार, अनुसंधान सहयोग के क्षेत्रों में आनुवंशिक रोग genetic disease शामिल होंगे जो शिशु और नवजात मृत्यु दर को प्रभावित करते हैं|

• Selected cities based on their proposal, readiness, and commitment - will receive technical support and capacity-building to develop, pilot and scale solutions that enhance the quality of life of young children.

• केंद्रीय आवास और शहरी मामलों के मंत्रालय द्वारा स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के तहत Nurturing Neighbourhoods चैलेंज शुरू  किया गया।

• यह पहल शहरों के लिए छोटे बच्चों,और परिवारों के जीवन की गुणवत्ता Quality of Life में सुधार के लिए  विकसित की गयी  एक चुनौती है।

• इसके तहत  चुने गए 25 शहरों के नामों की घोषणा की है।
