• Six cultural heritage sites from India, including Varanasi’s ghats along the Ganges, Kanchipuram Temple in Tamil Nadu and Satpura Tiger Reserve in MP, have been added to Unesco’s tentative list of world heritage sites, Union Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel 

• Of the nine entries sent to UNESCO by the Archaeological Survey of India, six have been accepted for inclusion in the tentative list, a mandatory requirement before a site is finally nominated

• India’s entries included the Maratha military architecture in Maharashtra, the Hire Bengal megalithic site in Karnataka and Bhedaghat-Lameta Ghat of Narmada Valley in Madhya Pradesh. 

• This takes the total proposals from India to 48.

• यह अब तक का सबसे छोटा कार्यकाल है।

• उस दौरान शराबबंदी का उनका निर्णय सबसे अधिक चर्चा में रहा।

•  देश की दूसरी लोकसभा के दौरान वर्ष 1957 में 25 वर्ष की उम्र में चुनाव जीतकर सबसे युवा सांसद बने।

• 2008 के मुंबई आतंकी हमलों के दौरान कमांडो फोर्स का नेतृत्व करने वाले NSG के पूर्व महानिदेशक जेके दत्त का कोविड-19 से उत्पन्न जटिलताओं के कारण निधन हो गया।

• तियानवान परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र के बिजली इकाइ नंबर 7 और 8 के निर्माण के पहले दिन और जुडापु परमाणु ऊर्जा के नंबर 3 और 4 के निर्माण के पहले दिन को चिह्नित करने के लिए समारोह आयोजित किया गया था।
