• The CNES will also supply fireproof carry bags to shield equipment from radiation and shock.

• Under the agreement, CNES will train Indian flight physicians.

• Kumar, a 1989 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Haryana cadre, was appointed as DGCA chief in July 2019. He had held additional charge of the post between May and July 2019 with the retirement of BS Bhullar.

• Prior to his DGCA post, Kumar was an additional secretary at the ministry of civil aviation (MoCA).

• सरकार ने नागरिक उड्डयन महानिदेशालय (DGCA) Directorate General of Civil Aviation  के प्रमुख अरुण कुमार का कार्यकाल छह महीने बढ़ा दिया है।

• उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार Industry and Internal Trade को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विभाग ने देश में नवाचार और स्टार्टअप के पोषण के लिए एक मजबूत पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र बनाने के लिए आवश्यक उपायों पर सरकार को सलाह देने के लिए इस परिषद का गठन किया था।

• He served the force from September 1, 2011, to December 19, 2012, as DG and earlier as ADG

• CBI के पूर्व निदेशक रंजीत सिन्हा का निधन हो गया। वह 68 वर्ष के थे।

• बिहार कैडर के 1974 बैच के अधिकारी सिन्हा ने भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल (ITBP) के महानिदेशक, रेलवे सुरक्षा बल का नेतृत्व किया था और पटना और दिल्ली में केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो Central Bureau of Investigation  में वरिष्ठ पदों पर कार्य किया था।

• The United Nations Secretary-General has called for the first-ever UN Food Systems Summit to be held in September 2021 to strategize the actions for positive change in Agri-food systems in the World to realize the vision of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

• To take the process further the Government has constituted a high-level Interdepartmental Group under the Chairmanship of Prof. Ramesh Chand, Member, NITI Aayog along with the representatives from Ministries of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare (MoAFW), Rural Development and others.

• The prime function assigned to this group is to conduct National Dialogues with all the stakeholders of agri-food systems for exploring national pathways towards creating sustainable and equitable food systems in India 

• The first National Level Dialogue on Agri-Food Systems-Advancing Equitable Livelihoods has been conducted on 12 April 2021.

• संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव ने सितंबर 2021 में आयोजित होने वाले प्रथम संयुक्त राष्ट्र खाद्य प्रणाली शिखर सम्मेलन UN Food Systems Summit का आह्वान किया है ताकि विश्व में कृषि-खाद्य प्रणालियों Agri-food systems में सकारात्मक बदलाव की रूपरेखा बनाने के लिए 2030 के सतत विकास के लक्ष्य के दृष्टिकोण का एहसास हो सके। 

• भारत  सरकार ने नीति आयोग के सदस्य प्रोफेसर रमेश चंद की अध्यक्षता में एक उच्च स्तरीय अंतर विभागीय दल high-level Interdepartmental Group  का गठन किया है, जिसमें  कृषि और किसान कल्याण, ग्रामीण विकास और अन्य मंत्रालयों के प्रतिनिधि शामिल हैं। 

• कृषि-खाद्य प्रणाली-उन्नतशील आजीविका पर पहली राष्ट्रीय स्तर की वार्ता 12 अप्रैल, 2021 को आयोजित की गई। राष्ट्रीय संवाद, कृषि विभाग और किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा गठित अंतर विभागीय समूह और दिल्ली में संयुक्त राष्ट्र एजेंसियों के प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा सुविधा प्रदान की गई थी।

• Along with India, Thailand was also at the 49th 
• Sweden ranked first in the ranking followed by the US and Spain.
