• Later in 1970, the union territory was declared as a separate state. On 25th January 1971, it became the 18th state of the country.

• The tiny hill-state Himachal Pradesh has developed rapidly after coming into existence on April 15, 1948, following the merger of 30 princely states. 

• Difficult geographical conditions, inaccessible areas, and other complexities could not affect the courage of the people.

• Microsoft has come forward to start pilot projects in selected 100 villages in 10 districts of 6 states (Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh) to develop farmer interface for smart and well-organized agriculture, including post-harvest management and distribution.

•  Microsoft has joined with its local partner, CropData, for this project.

• This project will reduce the input cost of farmers and ensure ease of farming.

•  इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए माइक्रोसॉफ्ट अपने स्थानीय भागीदार, CropData के साथ शामिल हुआ है। 

• इस संबंध में कैबिनेट मंत्री श्री तोमर व दोनों राज्य मंत्रियों की मौजूदगी में एमओयू व त्रिपक्षीय विलेख का आदान-प्रदान किया गया।
• ये प्रोजेक्ट किसानों की आदान लागत input cost को कम करेगा व खेती में आसानी सुनिश्चित करेगा।

• It is a comprehensive, scalable, and national digital wellbeing platform and an app developed to augment the mental well-being of Indian citizens. 

• The application integrates the health and wellness efforts of various government ministries, scientifically validated indigenous tools with gamified interfaces developed by various national bodies and research institutions.

• The app must be integrated with the public health schemes like National Health Mission, Poshan Abhiyan and e-Sanjeevani so that it is used widely.

•  He also said the application must be made multi-lingual.

•  It will also support and strengthen the national health systems to detect, prevent and treat COVID 19 cases and preparedness for future emergencies

• World Bank Country Director for Bangladesh and Bhutan Mercy Tembon said that these projects will help vaccinate about one-third of the population and help attract direct private investment in SEZs.

• Another installment of USD 500 million finance under the Private Investment and Digital Entrepreneurship (PRIDE) Project will promote and attract USD 2 billion direct private investments and strengthen social and environmental standards in selected public and private economic zones and software technology parks.
