• India’s first Floating Storage and Regasification Unit has arrived at H-Energy’s Jaigarh Terminal in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra, on the west coast of India.

•  FSRU based LNG Terminals aim at providing the ability to enhance the pace of natural gas import capability in an environment-friendly and efficient manner 

• The port is the first deepwater, 24×7 operational private port in Maharashtra.

• The LNG terminal is located at JSW Jaigarh Port in Ratnagiri district. The port is the first deep water, 24x7 operational private port in Maharashtra

• The facility will also deliver LNG through truck loading facilities for onshore distribution, the facility is also capable of reloading LNG onto small-scale LNG vessels for bunkering services.

• FSRU Höegh Giant, which sailed from Keppel Shipyard, Singapore, was berthed at Jaigarh terminal in Maharashtra

• Höegh Giant will deliver regasified LNG to the 56-km long Jaigarh-Dabhol natural gas pipeline, connecting the LNG terminal to the national gas grid.

• भारत का पहला फ्लोटिंग स्टोरेज ऐंड रीगैसिफिकेशन यूनिट (FSRU) महाराष्ट्र के एच-एनर्जी के जयगढ़ टर्मिनल पर पहुंच गया है। 

• FSRU होएग जायंट ( Höegh Giant) को सिंगापुर के केपेल शिपयार्ड से रवाना किया गया था और वह सोमवार को महाराष्ट्र के जयगढ़ टर्मिनल पर पहुंच गया।

•  यह LNG टर्मिनल भारत के पश्चिमी तट Western coast पर महाराष्ट्र के रत्नागिरि जिले के जयगढ़ बंदरगाह पर स्थित है। 

• यह बंदरगाह महाराष्ट्र में गहरे समुद्र में सातो दिन चौबीसो घंटे परिचालन करने वाला निजी क्षेत्र का पहला बंदरगाह है।

• ऑनरशिप वितरण के लिए ट्रक लोडिंग सुविधाओं के माध्यम से LNG की सुविधा प्रदान करेगा, सुविधा बंकरिंग सेवाओं के लिए एलएनजी को छोटे पैमाने पर एलएनजी जहाजों पर पुनः लोड करने में भी सक्षम है।
