• Delft, the largest of the three islands, is the closest to Rameswaram, which lies to the island’s south west.

Additional Information:  यह अफगानिस्तान में भारत द्वारा बनाया जा रहा दूसरा बड़ा बांध है, इससे एहले भारत-अफगानिस्तान मैत्री बांध, सलमा बांध, का उद्घाटन जून 2016 में किया गया था।

Additional Information: This is the second major dam being built by India in Afghanistan, after the India-Afghanistan Friendship Dam [Salma Dam], which was inaugurated by Modi and Ghani in June 2016.
