• This move has been taken to ease the future disinvestment plans. The amendment will come into force with immediate effect.

• Now, the Finance ministry has six departments

• The government has announced the sale of Rs 1.75 lakh crore of stake in public sector companies and financial institutions.

• The newly formed Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 8, 2021 approved a new package worth Rs 23,123 crore to boost emergency health infrastructure in states to tackle COVID-19 in the Fiscal Year 2021-22.

• The package has been titled ‘India COVID-19 Emergency Response & Health System Preparedness Package: Phase-II’.

• This is the first formal announcement with respect to the healthcare sector after Mansukh Mandaviya took charge as the new Health Minister, replacing Dr. Harsh Vardhan.

• The package will be implemented at a total cost of Rs 23,123 Crore, from July 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. 

• The central and state share will be:-Centre's share: Rs.15,000 crore-State's share: Rs.8,123 crore

• हाल ही में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए 23,123 करोड़ रुपये की एक नई योजना ‘भारत COVID-19 आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया और स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली तैयारी पैकेज: चरण- II’ (India COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health System Preparedness Package: Phase-II) को मंजूरी दी है।

• चरण -2 इस वर्ष 1 जुलाई से 31 मार्च, 2022 तक केंद्र और राज्य के हिस्से के साथ लागू किया जाएगा। इस परियोजना में केंद्र का हिस्सा 15 हजार करोड़ रुपये और राज्य का हिस्सा 8,123 करोड़ रुपये होगा।
• इस नई योजना के तहत सभी 736 जिलों में बाल चिकित्सा इकाइयां बनाने और बाल चिकित्सा उत्कृष्टता केंद्र स्थापित करने के लिए राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों का समर्थन किया जाएगा।

• The Ministry of Defence has implemented SPARSH [System for Pension Administration (Raksha)], an integrated system for automation of sanction and disbursement of defence pension.

• This web-based system processes pension claims and credits pension directly into the bank accounts of defence pensioners without relying on any external intermediary.

• A Pensioner Portal is available for pensioners to view their pension related information, access services and register complaints for redressal of grievances, if any, relating to their pension matters.

• रक्षा मंत्रालय ने SPARSH [System for Pension Administration (Raksha)  लागू किया है, जो रक्षा पेंशन की मंजूरी और वितरण के स्वचालन के लिए एक एकीकृत प्रणाली है

• ।पेंशन प्रशासन रक्षा प्रणाली (SPARSH) को सेना, भारतीय नौसेना और भारतीय वायु सेना के सभी पेंशनभोगियों के लिए चरणबद्ध तरीके से शुरू किया जाएगा। 

• 30 लाख से अधिक पेंशनभोगियों की डिजिटल प्रोसेसिंग के माध्यम से सही समय पर सही पेंशनभोगी को सही भुगतान सुनिश्चित करने के लिए यह पोर्टल लांच किया जा रहा है। 
• बैंक अब पेंशन वितरण एजेंसी नहीं रहेंगे और सभी शिकायत निवारण तंत्रों को एक ही स्रोत के माध्यम से हल किया जाएगा जो कि इलाहाबाद स्थित रक्षा लेखा के प्रधान नियंत्रक पीसीडीए (पेंशन) है।
